T-Mobile Blocking kvCORE Smart Numbers? What Realtors Need to Know Now
If you are a Realtor and a KvCore user and you are paying for a “Smart Number” add-on, you should test your smart number by having a friend of family member with T-mobile service call your smart number.
If you are an eXp agent, you have a free smart number to use, but it is shared and depending on the circumstances, your leads could be sent to other random agents within eXp.
KvCore is a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system which allows its user to track and schedule who they need to talk to and when. When people call, KvCore captures the number who calls you and forwards the call to your chosen number.
In my case, anyone calling the smart number I’ve had for 5 years experiences a partial ring following with a message “The call cannot be completed, try again later”.
T-Mobile currently has roughly a third of the cellphone market share in the United States, so it is hard to estimate the numbers potential clients who were not able to reach me.
I’m trying to work with insiderealestate.com tech support, but they haven’t been much help so far.
I also called T-mobile support and after a long conversation, my issue has been escalated and waiting for a response hopefully within a few days. An interesting note is that if I dial my smart number from t-mobile with a *67 before the number it does go through, but that blocks caller ID from being shared.
I will add to this blog as I move forward through this issue.
