- Free Medicare 101 Class will be held at the Jefferson County Health Department from 10 – 11:00 am
- No World Tobacco Day is May 31st!
- An estimated 37 million children aged 13-15 years worldwide use tobacco. If your child is vaping and wants to quit, contact Health Educator, Jeanne Beffrey at the Jefferson County Health Department to register for the NOT cessation course, 865-397-3930, ext 118. NOT, ”Not on Tobacco” is an evidence-based voluntary program by the Lung Association for teens who want to quit using tobacco products.
Smoking Cessation is Available
The Tennessee Department of Health provides a variety of programs designed to assist individuals in quitting smoking.

Freedom From Smoking Class: An 8-session course delivered over 7 weeks and produced by the American Lung Association.
